TEN Hostel is centrally located in Osaka city, just 1 stop away from Osaka central station or Umeda station. We are located just a 3 minute walk away from 3 train lines (JR and subway lines) and a 10 minute walk to the Osaka loop line for easy access to almost everything. Ten hostel can take you anywhere in Osaka, also ideally located for sightseeing in Kyoto, Nara and Kobe! We are right off of Tenjinbashi, the longest shopping arcade in Japan, with over 600 shops. The area is full of local Osaka culture and atmosphere.
From our hostel it takes just over 10 minutes to Namba(Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi), 20 minutes to Shin-Osaka Shinkansen station, about a 20 minute walk to the Osaka castle, and 20 minutes to Universal Studio Japan (USJ).

From JR Osaka Tenmangu station

JR Tozai Line

2mins walk from JR-1 exit

  • Go out the gate (any gate is OK) to the left, walk to ‘#JR-1′ exit. Take the stairs or the elevator to the ground floor.
  • Once you reach the ground floor, make a left turn at the corner of the convenience store ‘Family Mart’ and ‘Cafe di Espresso’, going to the north.
  • Pass the coin operated lockers on your left. Walk straight, and turn left at the 3rd corner with no traffic signal. (Turn left before Lawson convenience store).
  • Walk about 20 meters, you will see ‘TEN Hostel&Cafe’ signboard on your right!

From Subway Minami-Morimachi station

Subway Sakaisuji Line(brown,T21) or Tanimachi Line(purple, K13)

3 mins walk from “3″ exit

  • Go out the East gate of subway (K13 or T21) to the left and find “#3″ exit. Take the stairs up to the ground. There is a shopping arcade on your left.
  • Once you reach the ground floor, take a sharp left turn, and follow the shopping street, going to the north. (Don’t cross at the big cross walk, it’s other way around.)
  • Walk past a drug store on the left and turn right at the first corner where there are Hana coffee and the patisserie “La Moule & Tarte”. Walk past a convenience store “Family Mart” on your right, walk toward the “7-11”.
  • Make a left turn at the corner of “Seven Eleven”, and walk 20 menters, then turn right at the next corner. There is a roofed parking lot at this corner.
  • Walk about 20 meters, you will see “TEN Hostel Osaka” signboard on your left!

From Airport, Kyoto, Nara, Kobe

FROM Kansai international Airport (KIX)

via Nankai Railway + Subway

  • Take the Nankai Railway Airport Line to Tengachaya station(40mins)
  • Change to Subway Sakaisuji Line (northbound) to Minami morimachi station.(13mins)
  • Ten is about 3 minutes walk away from Minami morimachi station.

via JR train

70mins

1160yen one way.

  • Take the JR “Kansai Airport Rapit Service” to Kyobashi station on the Loop Line, and then change to the JR Tozai Line and get off at Osaka-Tenmangu station.
  • If the train goes clockwise on the Loop, you can also get off at Temma station, which is next to Osaka station. Changing at Kyobashi station brings you more time on train but less walk.
  • Ten is about 3 minutes walk away from Osaka-Tenmangu station.

FROM Shin-Osaka station

via JR train

  • Ride the JR train to Osaka station (one stop from Shin-Osaka sta).
  • Change to the Subway Tanimachi Line (PURPLE) to Minami morimachi station (1stop)
  • Ten is about 3 minutes walk away from Minami morimachi station.

  • Ride the Subway Midosuji Line (RED) to Umeda station.
  • Change to the Subway Tanimachi Line (PURPLE) to Minami morimachi station (1stop)

Keihan Main Line+ Subway Tanimachi Line
